It is really very difficult to make, as well as modify a blogger template or blogger skin. If a person does not have a technical know how, he would tend to wast his entire day studying how templates work. It is quite simple, yet complicated. One trick is that you must have common sense and a whole lot of patience to get it right. An Application called Notepad++ really helped me in editing the templates' html codes. I use Notepad++ to troubleshoot any problems the template has. Customizing your blogger template is no easy task. You WILL make mistakes from time to time but do not get frustrated it just takes a little patience.

Having a little knowledge in Adobe Photoshop CS3 will give you an edge in designing your template. The first thing you must do is conceptualize your Blog Template's design. Conceptualization shortens the time you spend in front of your PC Monitor and saves an awful lot of energy.

In re-sizing the whole page, look for the code which has the word "body", "outer-wrapper", or page (Note: 1000 pixels with would fit the screen like a glove). Select a suitable background color or image and upload to a photo streaming site. Copy its url and paste in the "background" part of the body.

in personalizing the background color of the main wrapper, side bar and footer, input the color code that you want in the background color section of the template code. You can use the adobe photoshop to choose the color codes you want.

Since childhood till now, I have always been a cartoon fan. From Voltron to Thunder cats to He Man and almost all of the Loony Tunes Cartoon made by Warner Bros. As I was checking out my social network, i found myself singing "Hello My Baby". I really do not know who originally sang that song but it sort of stuck in my memory. It is probably one of the best short cartoons I have ever watched. The cartoon is short it is only about 6 mins.

Magnetic Bracelets

A month ago, my father, mother, my wife and I were at my grandma's house to spend the Sunday there. My uncles and aunts were there too. My uncle who happens to be a doctor, showed us his new bracelet. It looked ordinary at first but it includes several magnets attached to it. My uncle said that it has certain medical benefits and may even relieve back pains and other discomforts. The sterling silver bracelets had a lot of designs for men and women. Some silver bangles for women had gold plating in it and an elegant design. Turns out that my uncle was actually selling these sterling silver jewelry at 500 pesos each, so, the entire clan bought one for every single member of the family.

Months before my uncle introduced the silver accessories to the family, my friend was invited to a multilevel marketing forum about a titanium bracelet that is said to give the wearer extra strength. I really do not believe it. They put the bracelet on the back of their necks and demonstrate to their prospects that it makes the bearer stronger than he was before. I think it was a scam because people who wanted to buy the titanium bracelet had to pay at least 7,000 pesos for membership and the bracelets. The flaw in their marketing strategy is that they did not explain how titanium makes one feel and actually stronger and several other medical benefits the bracelet has. As opposed to the magnetic silver jewelries, magnets have been used as alternative treatment for some illnesses and may improve certain conditions.

Personally, sleeping problems I have actually vanished and I was also sleeping better. My wife's sleeping problems were also cured because i have observed that she no longer have this insomnia type symptom with her.

Singapore Experience

My family and I went to Singapore last October 26, 2008. The trip was intended as a gift for our Son because he liked animals so much and Singapore was the nearest country that has an almost complete variety of fishes and other animals. As for me, I really wanted to visit the Songs of The Sea show because i heard that it was the greatest show they have in Singapore, and it is. On our first day in Singapore, we went to the Singapore Zoo. The Zoo was huge and has different kinds of animals that I just have seen for the first time. They have White Tigers, a pygmy hippopotamus, a tapir, and a whole lot more. We got stuck at the hippo's sanctuary because it was raining really hard and was impossible to continue the walking. After a few hours the rain stopped, and we were glad to continue the tour.

In the evening of our first day, we went to the Night Safari just beside the Singapore Zoo. The Night Safari is the first Night Zoo in the world. It features several Nocturnal animals like hyenas, Tarsiers, and many more. It also shows what day time animals do during the night. We took the a tour bus this time because we were afraid that it would rain again. There were lots of people that time that we had to fall in line to to ride the vehicle. The Night Safari is also the most popular Zoo in Singapore. We got off at the first stop in the hopes that we may see more animals along the way. We got lost, but soon found our way just in time for the Show. The show was nice because of the funny host. Oh! the animals were great too. Sadly, Flash Photography is not allowed in the Night Safari.

Cleaning A Printer Head

I brought my Epson cx2900 printer to a computer shop for a clean up job. The ink on my printer head dried up and the technician s in the computer shop did not know what to do with it. So, I decided to experiment on it a little. I started to undo a screw, then another, then another. Before i knew it. I have successfully extracted the printer head and cleaned it with free flowing tap water at first. Then, using a syringe with a surgical pipe instead of a neddle, i pupmed warm water on to each slot until the water comming out of it was clear.

I finished with the printer head at around 11 P.M. and was os tired thati wanted to go to sleep right away and leave the reconstruction tomorrow. I just hope that i still remember where to put the parts. Lol!!

Last night, I was supposed to bring my wife to the Wordpress users meet up at Bryan's cafe in Obrero, Davao City. I was planning to leave her there at the event, and fetch her later when the meet up was finished. I was planning to go to an Internet Cafe and stay there for a while until the event was done but was not able to do so because it was raining hard and there are no internet Cafe's around. I said to myself; "well, here goes another boring night!" Luckily, it was no ordinary event beacause Matt Mullenweg the man behind wordpress was there in the event. So, I told myself again "This night is not so bad after all" (if i keep doing this speaking to myself thing, I would have to go see a shrink). It was amazing! Matt Mullenweg started wordpress about 5 years ago and guess what, he's just 26 years old now. Perhaps the most awesome thing about Matt Mullenweg is that he is a Political Science graduate (like me) and not a graduate of some IT or Computer related course. Of course, i met new persons at the event and some of them I have met before.

Our endless pursuit to happiness ends here. Death as we know it is inevitable so is the continuation of the great cycle of life. The most gruesome, most prevented, and often feared fact comes to us like a lightning. Fast and unexpected. We must live life like there would be no tomorrow and do the things that we would like others to remember us for.

I assume you all know that nursery song "Mr. Peter Rabbit" the one whose got a fly up on his nose?
Jean(my wife) and I were eating on Jolibee Toril. We had 2 Yum with TLC (Tomato Lettuce and (something)). After eating we got out of Jolibee and crossed the street. I called a "pedicab" for her When she got on the vehicle, i turned around to go to my back to my store. Since i have colds, I was always sniffing my nose. as i turned, around a fly went up my nose and accidentally sniffed it in. That may be the grosses thing that have ever happened to me. I did not know what to do. Next thing i know, i spitted the fly on the street and it was covered with mucus. I did not stop to take a closer look but i am pretty sure it was there (Hope the little fucker died). I got so disgusted that i almost vomited.

This is a reaction to the proposed peso value regulation proposed by OFW's which in my view is not fair. We, as a nation strive and longed for the strengthening of our Philippine Peso against the US Dollar. Now it is happening, thanks to Our OFW's whose remittances help the economy.

This proposal to fix the value of the Peso to 50 against the dollar will not really help the nation as a whole but only a certain sector. The welfare of the many must not be sacrificed for the welfare or the few. I hope this comment would not spur much confusion among Filipinos. As I have said, this is only a reaction.

I just opened a photo copying / Computer jobs biz in Toril. I burn CD's, MP3's, DVD's, edit photos, Print, and Photo copy. Customers were very few at the beginning but their number increases everyday. hooooooooooooorrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy!

Formaldehyde Candy... Really Sweet

"White Rabbit" the all time favorite candy from China just got even better. Aside from its edible inner wrapper and oh so sweet milky flavor, it now has Formaldehyde or should I say embalming fluid in it. The Philippine BFAD examined "White Rabbit" and several other china made food and found formaldehyde in it.

The Philippine Chinese Embassy told reporters that they would recheck all imported Chinese products and file cases against the local distributors and their Chinese counterparts . However, they did not say anything about recalling all those food.

Dudes! that thing about Friday the thirteenth is really true because everything went wrong for me that day.....

First, Between 1:00 - 3:00 pm I and my Bros from the frat were having a good time picking up prostitutes for the gay neophyte (lucky bastard). After an hour of haggling, we managed to get 2 girls to agree to our demands which is to give a good show and for 1,300 pesos. After an hour, the neophyte was now naked waiting for the 2 girls to undress when everything was prepared and we thought nothing could ever go wrong, a girl stormed in to the apartment where we were looking so angry that we were so shocked we could not move. She bitch-slapped his boyfriend and every body in the room including the girls and the neophyte. We hurriedly went out and ran for our lives it was so scary.... some of escaped with red cheeks and the unfortunate ones with scratches on their faces. I on the other hand escaped unharmed.....

When we were discussing the situation assessing what went wrong and stuff. when i reached out in my pocket, and was surprised to find 2 sachetes of instant coffee which I bought earlier. One pack is Strong which costs 6 pesos and the other one extrastrong which costs 7 pesos. I spent 13 pesos for the two.... Now im a convinced that there is indeed something wrong with that number.
